Metabolic Reduction Injection

A Metabolic reduction Injection is a series of medical drugs used to reduce the metabolic rate of the patient. This has the desired result of placing the patient into a near-deathlike trance which is so convincing that even medical tricorders can be fooled. This series of treatments was a predecessor to Stasis chambers.
