Morella
In 2408 Morella, the self proclaimed Pirate Queen ordered a raid into Meldovian Space for the purpose of kidnapping the Cartenian Prince Khamal.
The purpose of this abduction was to safe-guard the war profiteering business of the Orion Syndicate. The Syndicate had been supporting both the Arturian and Meldovian factions of the Cartenian Civil War for the last 400 years, by supplying ships, weapons and services to both sides of the conflict.
The assignment of the USS Rosenante was the safe recovery and return of Prince Khamal to Cartenian Space. Although, the Rosenante crew never met Morella, they foiled her plans with the aid of one of her rivals Doyle 'Dogface' O'Banyan.
Morella has vowed revenge for their interference.
