Ravanar IV
Ravanar IV is an uninhabited Class M planet located in the Taurus Reach. It possesses two Class L Moons. In 2265, ruins of an ancient and powerful civilization were discovered on that world. These ruins later were identified as belonging to the creators of the Shedai Wanderer.
The Wander destroyed the USS Bombay with all hands in 2265 when the crew attempted to gain access to areas that the wanderer considered sacred. This caused the United Federation of Planets to believe that either the Klingon Empire or the Tholian Assembly were responsible as the Taurus Reach was hotly contested territory at that time.
Eventually the Shedai Wanderer was destroyed and the technology of it's creators lost forever. Later ravenar would be ceeded to the Tholian Assembly as part of a peace agreement.
Mirror Universe[edit]
In the Mirror Universe, the ruins of the Shedai Wander's creators were never discovered by the Terran Empire. Instead, the planet was forcefully annexed by the Tholian Assembly after Regent Spock ordered the area abandoned.
