Rothal Chapel
Rothal Chapel is a place of religious worship located on Starbase 989. It is a large open space, surrounded by six large black mural walls, that represent the void of space and ones closeness to the creator spirit.
The only seating in the chapel is in the form of four sturdy Harmony wood benches that form the outline of a geometric square.
In 2414, Captain Ahmed Ibn Salid performed a wedding ceremony for Thomas Jackson and his betrothed Dahlia. The ceremony was simple but elegant, with the captain and the bride and groom standing in the center of the chapel and the guests arrayed along the outside.
The chapel was remarked to have excellent acoustic properties, making it easy for everyone to hear the ceremonial vows.
