Temporal Flux Capacitor
The Temporal Flux Capacitor was a device of Tkon manufacture that possessed the ability to create and maintain stable Temporal Vortexes. Such a device was encountered by the crews of the USS Rosenante and the USS Boudicca in 2414, when they followed a Borg Pyramid backwards through time to the Age of Makto.
The device was installed within the Tkon Nanosphere and was originally designed by the Tkon scientist D'askto. An artificial intelligence known as Adrene was originally built to operate the device, but the Borg assimilated those abilities.
Sanok, Ben Soma and Jessica Signos were told by D'askto that the destruction of the capacitor had the potential to shatter all of the Space-Time continuum and to cause the implosion of the entire universe.
The only known example of the device was destroyed during the Cretaceous Period of Earth's history by the combined Efforts of the two Federation starships. Adrene had shut down the device prior to its destruction, thus safeguarding the existence of the Universe.
The Temporal Flux Capacitor first appeared in the joint USS Boudicca and USS Rosenante mission Once More Into The Breach
