Kaylee Parker
Kaylee Parker is the Chief Engineer aboard the Tellarite freighter Moarvol. She was responsible for the maintenance of the ship. Her nickname was "Nose" because she "had a nose for trouble." She was once a Starfleet Officer, and she held the rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade. She doesn't talk much about her past Starfleet service, preferring not to discuss it.
In 2413, she and the rest of the crew of the Moarvol were mining magnesite in the Zeta Draconis System when they inadvertently contracted an infestation of Vexarak Spoilers.
They then brought the infestation to Starbase 989, where it was introduced to the station through the bulk storage tanks. The shipment of Magnesite was scheduled to be smelted into bars for easy use and transportation to another shipper.
